Yes you can! We partner with top dog trainers to provide training solutions for you and your family dog(s). 6 week, hour long courses are offered to help teach pets and pet parents a host of life skills that will make you and your dog's time together much more enjoyable.

What classes are offered?

Family Puppy Headstart

Prerequisites: None

Who is this for? Pups under 6 months old at the start of class

This 6-week course is the best way to get your new pup started on the right track. Share some bonding time with your pup as we show you how to teach your new family member important skills including: housetraining, stopping puppy biting, accepting handling, stopping destructive chewing, teaching polite greetings, sitting on command, dropping stolen objects, learning proper socialization techniques, and effective communication with your puppy.

Family Dog Foundations

Prerequisites: None

Who is this for? Pups over 6 months and adult dogs

In this 6-week course, you will learn how to effectively communicate with your adolescent dog and build a solid foundation while we focus on skills such as sit, down, stay, come when called (recall), walk without pulling, and polite greetings.

Family Dog Manners

Prerequisites: Family Dog Foundations

Who is this for? Pups over 6 months and adult dogs


In this 6-week course, we’ll be using skills learned in the Foundations class, and will focus on teaching your dog to become a well-mannered member of your family including working through distractions, greeting guests, laying quietly during family mealtimes and putting these skills to use in the real world.

Family Dog Advanced

Prerequisites: Family Dog Manners

Who is this for? Pups over 6 months and adult dogs

This 6-week course will take your dog's training to the next level by teaching commands at a distance, using heightened distractions, emergency recall and emergency stop commands, useful tricks, and introductions to off-leash work.

Canine Good Citizen Prep Class

Prerequisites: Family Dog Manners

Who is this for? Pups over 6 months and adult dogs


This 6-week course will cover the skills necessary to successfully complete the AKC Canine Good Citizen test which is open to purebred and mixed breed dogs. The test items include: 1. Accepting a friendly stranger; 2. Sitting politely for petting; 3. Appearance and grooming; 4. Out For a Walk (walking on a loose lead); 5. Walking thru a crowd; 6. Sit and down on cue and stay in place; 7. Coming when called; 8. Reaction to another dog; 9. Reaction to distractions; and 10. Supervised separation. The last class will include administering the AKC Canine Good Citizen for each student.

Reactive Dog Class

Prerequisites: None

Who is this for? Dogs who suffer from over-arousal, barking, lunging and/or fear in the presence of unfamiliar dogs.


In this 6-week course, you will learn how to recognize your dog's body language and emotions, and what to do about them. This class focuses on how to change your dog's emotional response to other dogs and decrease reactivity. We will use counter-conditioning to teach your dog positive associations with other dogs, and to pay attention to you the handler. There will be no socialization or interaction between dogs in this class. Required equipment: 6-foot leash (no flexi or rope style leashes), well fitted Martingale collar, tons of very small training treats for use in class and at home (don't feed the dogs before class - we'll want them to be food motivated). Muzzles may be required at the discretion of the trainer.

Individual Training

Prerequisites: None

Who is this for? We offer individual training for more nuanced, focused needs on a one-on-one basis. Speak to us about what you seeking help for.

Are vaccines required?

Yes, given the close proximity you and your dog will keep to other dogs in training, we require the below shots for health and safety of all participants(All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and written proof must be submitted):​

Rabies – is required for puppies over 4 months of age

DHLPP – distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus

Bordetella – required every 12 months
