Dog Boarding
Here at the Clip Shoppe Groom and Board, we offer you and your dog better pet boarding services in New Jersey. During your dog's stay, we do everything to make your dog as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The dog's runs are large, clean, and temperature controlled with lots of natural light. They all get one-on-one playtime with a handler 3 to 4 times a day in our large outdoor play areas.

Your dog will be treated as one of our own at our pet care facility. Our staff frequently checks in on each guest to pamper them. We go out of our way to make their stay as comfortable as possible by comforting any that appear sad or missing their human family. We do our best to ensure that our guests leave happy.
Vaccine Requirements for Dogs
The health and safety of all our guests are very important to us. All dogs must have current vaccinations for the following:
• Rabies
• DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus)
• Bordetella
Certification from a veterinarian is required for all dogs before boarding can be allowed. If your dog requires an updated vaccination, please make arrangements for the vaccination to be administered no less than ten days before their stay.
Puppies must complete the full series of vaccinations, including the rabies vaccine, no less than ten days prior to their scheduled stay.
Titers will be accepted with proper documentation.
Cat Boarding
The Clip Shoppe Groom and Board in Morris County also offers an excellent cat boarding experience for you and your cat. We do everything we can to make your cat as comfortable and stress-free as possible while they are with us. The cat cages are spotless, temperature-controlled, and well-lit. They all get one-on-one time with a handler and access the windows to watch the dogs play outdoors.

• Accommodations with soothing music and sound machines
Your cat will be treated as one of our own. We pamper our guests and go out of our way to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Our staff frequently checks in on each guest and comfort any that appear sad or maybe missing their human parents. We do our best to ensure that our guests leave happy.
Vaccine Requirements for Cats
The health and safety of all our pets are very important to us. All cats must have current vaccinations for the following:
• Rabies
• FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukemia, feline distemper virus)
Certification from a veterinarian is required for all cats before boarding can be allowed. If your cat requires an updated vaccination, please make arrangements for the vaccination to be administered no less than ten days before its stay.
Kittens must complete the full series of vaccinations, including the rabies vaccine, no less than ten days prior to their scheduled stay.
Titers will be accepted with proper documentation.
Special Needs
The highly trained staff at the Clip Shoppe Groom and Board understands that all of our pets may have special needs at one time or another. Please discuss any special requirements with us when you make your reservation. We will do everything in our power to make sure your pet is provided for.
Accommodations are medications, supplements, special meal preparation pre/post-surgical or injury treatment. Our staff can administer injections, oral or topical medications your dog or cat may require during their visit.
A veterinarian is on call 24 hours a day in case of an emergency.
Provisions for Your Pet
We provide soft, comfy bedding on a raised cot and play soothing music or sound machine 24 hours a day. Our indoor facility is fully air-conditioned and heated.
Your dog will be taken outside at least 3 to 4 times a day with a handler. They can play and run, off-leash, in our large outdoor fenced-in yards. They do not play with other dogs.
Please bring ample food and treats for your pet's visit, including extras for unexpected delays. Stick to their usual diet to avoid digestive issues. Avoid rawhide treats due to choking risks.
Feel free to bring familiar bedding and toys to ensure your pet's comfort during their stay, but please bring only a few items. Label your pet's items if you can. Adding an item with your scent, can also comfort your pet.
Please do not bring feeding bowls, water bowls, or measuring cups. We prefer to use our own, and yours may get lost or misplaced. Call us for more information about our pet boarding services!
