Unlike traditional "all day play" daycares that often consist of large groups with minimal structure, the Clip Shoppe Day Train Program offers a unique, enrichment-based socialization model. Our program is strictly limited to small groups to ensure your dog receives individual attention and develops a lifetime of good habits.
Who Is This Program For?
This program is designed for dog owners seeking a structured environment that prioritizes both mental enrichment and physical stimulation. It is ideal for:
Which of our Doggy Daycare services works best for you?
The purpose of the Clip Shoppe daycare is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs on a daily basis. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:
AGE: All dogs 6 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
SHOTS: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and written proof must be submitted.
Puppies: To help with early exposure to other dogs, people and environments; confidence building; impulse control; good manners; housebreaking, walking on leash, and making good decisions to name just a few things.
Adult Dogs: To assist with mental enrichment; recall; friendly greetings; exposure to other dogs, people, and environments, resource guarding and confidence building among other benefits.
Sensitive Dogs: To engage dogs that may feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or shut down in chaotic, large-group daycare settings.
HEALTH:
All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 14 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 14 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
BEHAVIOR:
All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.
Program Structure & Curriculum
We do not offer "drop-in" or "as-needed" days; instead, we utilize 12-week sessions to ensure consistency and demonstrable progress.
Small Groups: We limit groups to 10 dogs, split into "Puppy Pre-School" (up to ~8 months) and "Doggy Life Time Learning" (~8 months+).
The Daily Routine: During their 8-hour day, dogs rotate through specific stations including mental enrichment activities, socialization exercises, professional trainer-led sessions, mandatory rest periods, and structured group play. We aim to keep things fresh and engaging for the dogs.
Professional Oversight: All activities are overseen by a professional dog trainer and assistants certified in Dog First Aid and CPR, using modern, science-based positive methods.
